About Me
Greetings! I'm Nourah Al Hasawi, a Kuwaiti filmmaker who has embraced the bustling atmosphere of Los Angeles for the past 7 years. My cinematic journey ignited at the New York Film Academy, where I earned my Bachelor's in Filmmaking in 2020. Growing up with a profound understanding of Western culture, influenced by films, TV shows, and platforms like Disney, Freeform, and Netflix, I bring a unique perspective to my craft.My educational foundation extends beyond borders, encompassing a summer program at the MetFilm School Young Filmmakers Academy in the UK in 2016 and culminating in a Master's in Producing Film and TV at the New York Film Academy, set for completion in 2023. As a filmmaker, my roles span from Line Producer and Creative Producer to Unit Production Manager, Director, Location Manager, and Casting Director. I specialize in script coverage, production management, and the utilization of tools like Movie Magic Suite and Final Draft. Passionate about storytelling, I've contributed to diverse projects, including short films, music videos, and documentaries. My commitment to the entire project lifecycle sets me apart - from pre-production intricacies to the final stages of marketing, I'm there every step of the way. What defines my work ethos is a dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative environment. I value clear communication and transparency, ensuring everyone involved feels heard and valued.
